Just another day.....

Just another Wednesday! I took today off instead of yesterday, because Craig had an export seminar to attend in Portland, so Koben wasn't at the office today, he got to hang out with Mommy. We ran a few errands, had coffee with grandpa Fred, and browsed thru Fred Meyer to by Anjie a birthday present. I found several things there I would like to have! Oh well, maybe another day. Now Chloe is finishing her homework for the week, we have taken the practice spelling test (I am amazed at that girls spelling. Constitution, medieval, thorough, probably, I mean, the kid is eight! She usually aces the test, and if she does miss one, it's usually one of the bonus words. Awesome. Now her math, that is a different story! ) she has filled out her reading log, and is waiting for daddy to get home to finish her math. That is his area. I deal with spelling and reading, he does the math. I can't explain it to her, and then we both get frustrated. She is not a logical thinker, and math is very logical. Gee, I think she gets that from her mother. Maybe Koben will be the math whiz like dad. I guess we all have our areas of greatness! Koben is running around, collecting those little paper mail in cards that are loose in the middle of magazines. He loves paper. I hate finding them all over, but oh well, you win some, you lose some. He is playing with his tigger and pooh alphabet game, you push the button, it gives you the sound, and the name of the letter. He likes to turn it on, and then run away, so all I hear is a very loud, "I wonder what we'll learn today" from Pooh, or a "Tiggers love the alphabet" from Tigger, or a Tigger gggrrreeeaaattttt, when he gets one right. Yup, I may go crazy, but not today! Now I think I will head to the internet and check out flooring and cabinets online, and see if I can find Koben a new pair of Crocs. He loves those darn shoes!
