Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!

yes, it is beautiful outside! I normally do not discuss the weather too much, it seems kinda moot here in Oregon, it's either raining, or it's not. It's either sunny, or it's not. Since I've lived here my whole life, I don't really notice the weather too much. The rain does not depress me, the gloom does not make me sad. It just is. My dad hates winter so much. he keeps saying they are moving to Arizona, or California, or Texas. If he moves, it will be alone, because I don't see my mom leaving. I will say, however, that when the sun shines in the spring, and the trees start to bloom, and the daffodils come up, I really do stop to admire it. I love spring, and fall. Everything else is just, eh. I don't love it, and I don't hate it. So, that being said, it is very pretty outside today, and I am kinda bummed that I have to work. I hate working Saturdays! I know it is just a part of retail I have to except. Craig is constantly telling me to find a Monday thru Friday "butt job" as he calls it. I have tried that, and I HATED it. I need to see people, different people, every day, not just office people, and I need to talk! I would get in trouble so much when I was in an office, cause I'm a chatty Cathy. My dear, swee, adorable husband just needs to finally accept the fact, that I am a damn good salesperson, my brides LOVE me, and working Saturday, is just one of those things you need to adjust to. I must say, as much as I would love to have the entire weekend off with my family, I very much enjoy having a day off during the week, that is just for me. I get to hang out with Koben, or have coffee with dad, or run my errands in peace while Koben is in preschool, and then when he is in school full time.........aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, peace for mommy! So I guess working 10:30 to 5:00 on Saturday isn't all bad. Besides the store has huge windows, so I get to see the sun, right? Right.

By the way, last night for dinner I made breakfast. We had omelets and little links. Craig and I had onions and mushrooms sauteed in ours, but I made plain cheese ones for Koben and Chloe. Lo and behold, my daughter, the pickiest little girl on the planet who has been telling me for years she can't stand eggs, or melted cheese, actually ate her omelet, and loved it! Miracle. However, her little brother, who loves eggs, and melted cheese, and sausage, would not eat any of it. He does have a nasty cold, so I'll pretend that's what it was.

Happy, Happy Saturday! I hope you all are outside, or with your families, and not reading this! We've all ready had a visit today from the Dish Network man (at 7:30 this morning) So everyone at my house is up, dressed, eaten, and the blinds are open to let in all this sun! Except for Chloe, of course, who refuses to open the blinds in her room, and has been banished to it because it is uninhabitable (sp?) and she is not allowed to come out until we can tell what color the carpet is. Yes, she did just clean it a week or so ago. Oh my, she is so much her mothers daughter.

Lots of love!
