Sad, when I have nothing to talk about. Now watch, my post will be really long. That either means I thought of more as I went along, or I'm just really good at talking about nothing.
School started last week. Yay in some ways, ick in others. It's nice to have the kids out from under your feet, but I hate going back onto the school schedule. I don't get home until 6:30 or 7pm everynight, and getting dinner on the table, everyone fed, and the kids bathed and in bed by eight is impossible. I haven't made it yet this year. (as I speak it is 8:10 and chloe is just now going into the shower, which will take her a half hour. *sigh*) Tonight was open house, so I can say I had an excuse for being later.
Koben starts back to school tomorrow. He will be attending Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 3:30. Don't you just think that is the most convenient time for a full time working mother? Boy, I did. Last time it was 9 to 11. I loved that. I could take them both to school, have two hours of peace to myself, and have until 3:30 to run errands, have coffee with dad, or do stuff at home. Now I have to take chloe to school, come home and then take him back in the afternoon, which living where we do, does not give me a whole lot of time for appointments or errands. Then I have to rush to pick him up at school and be back home by the time Chloe gets off the bus. Jeesh. Oh well. The way his preschool seems to work, there could be a whole different time by January.
Other than that, there is nothing going on here. I think we are through our busy season at work. Craig has been helping us out, so our flooring has yet to get done. We still have the bedroom closet and the moulding to do. Hard to say when that will get done. Right now my house is a disaster area, and I need to spend some time digging out the clutter that has accumulated. Fun! Fun! Fun!
